I have a simple local view where records in table A MAY have one and only one matching record in table B. The view needs to get all records in table A, and the matching record in table B. With 27,000 records in table A and 68,000 records in table B, opening the view takes about 20 seconds on the network. I have other views with much larger record sets loading in one second or less, and I'm not sure what else I can do to optimize this one. The fields used as join conditions are indexed in both tables and are both the same size and data type (char 15). Any one have an idea where to start looking?
