Application: FoxPro 2.6a, OS: Windows 98 with updates, Problem: Foxpro 2.6 has been running fine on Windows 3.11, Windows 95 and Windows 98 for years. Built new system and moved OS and all files to same. When attempting to start FoxPro 2.6 a error box pops up with the following.
An error has occurred in your program. To keep working anyway, click Ignore and save your work in a new file. To quit this program, click Close. You will lose information you entered since last save. Making the choice of the Ignore button starts FoxPro up normal and it will continue to run fine all day. I have uninstalled and re-installed FoxPro and the DK but still have the same problem. I have been told that a patch for the foxw2600.esl file might, but haven't been able to find it yet. I have installed all the 2.6 patches from Microsoft board to no avail. A 70 year old FoxPro addict from the Vulcan days would welcome any ideas to a solution for this. Kent
