This page contains information about the next generation of Visual Studio, mainly from a VB perspective. On the screen shots you can clearly see that VJ++ has beeen dropped from VS 7 and that VFP 7 has been integrated into the Visual Studio project manager. If your contractor continues to tell folks such nonsense, let him or her give you the source on MSDN. The entire MSDN is available online and it shouldn't be too difficult to find the article he/she is referring to.
