No, they did the same thing the US DOJ did years ago. They check whether Microsoft has misused its power in an illegal way. More precisely, some competitors have complained that Windows 2000 only works stable with other Microsoft products. This would violate EU law and if it's true, Microsoft has to make Windows compatible with other products, for example by publishing non-public functions used by MS-Office, or fixing problems, and the like.

The other thing that causes some problems here is DiskKeeper, because it was written by a company that is close to Scientology...
