>The characterization of MS as "the Evil Empire" is fairly common in the public >press. You complain openly that MS Word View doesn't do mail-merge, when none >of the competing products even provide a free viewer. And the only product >that your application will support is MS Word.

Look, I'm not anti-Microsoft nor do I think that it is an "evil empire" nor do I care what the press says about them. Is wishing for something complaining? Again, I was just making an inquery about a product. Why are you so offended by this?

>In my opinion, you're a short-sighted individual who bitches and moans because >MS doesn't provide you with enough freebie office automation products for >having made the mistake of selling you a great data-centric application >development environment. Do me the great favor of showing me the benevolent, >benificent and competitive compiler/development environment that gives away >the compile and interpret on they fly capabilities of VFP, that runs under >Win32 and has, as a base part of the product, the full, freely-redistributable >automation functionality of MS Office without the need to purchase MS Office. >Or stop bitching and moaning that MS ain't giving you a free mail-merge, >because you aren't quite saavy enough to either support more than one word->processor for mailmerge, or are unwilling to require that your end-user own >Word or bundle the product that you do support with your application.

If personal insult is all you can give to someone who is relatively new to foxpro, please don't bother to reply to my questions, i don't need it and i don't have the time. If there is another way to solve my problem, you, as the much more experienced foxpro programmer, could have pointed me in the right direction instead of wasting your time and mine with this gibberish.

If you and i were to meet you wouldn't want to be this hostile towards me nor would you find it necessary.

I'm just curious to know why you feel the need to defend Microsoft so vigorously. Microsoft is big enough to take care of itself without you. Do you work for them or are you their P.A.K.? Hell, you act like I insulted a member of your family.
