This is the expected behaviour. If the field is fully selected when you start typing, the you replace all of the selected text. This is what you want. If the field is not selected, then you simply add to what's already there. For example, in a text box if you want to change "Hello" to "Hello World", you move to the end of "Hello" and type " World". The same thing happens here, just that it's interpreted differently, since it's a numeric field. -- Paul Russell Software Kinetics Ltd. | Phone: (902) 481-4582 Fax: (902) 468-3679 201 Brownlow Avenue | Office: Paul.Russell@SofKin.ca Dartmouth | "The best evidence that time travel will never be Nova Scotia, Canada | possible is that we have not been invaded by B3B 1W2 | hordes of tourists from the future." - S.
