I've just ordered CR 8.0, but i've seen that under v7.0 the smart viewer control had simular problems (solved by SYS(2333,1)) . Under the automation (CRPE32.dll) server be sure that the FPW 2.6 file structure stay's the same, if you make an enhancement in the reporting DBF an exception error may occur. The verify database option may solve this problem.
