Hi,

Have a look at www.ogc.gov.bc.ca. On the left hand side of the page click on Pipelines and Facilities, then Search Pipeline Database. When you get to the British Columbia Pipeline Query System page, you've left my client's server and are on my server on my home office. Have a look in the address line of your browser and you'll see wc.dll?mycode etc. All the pages are done by modifying the examples from wwc.

The site will be down for a portion of today and tomorrow. I'm upgrading the server from wwc 2.97 to wwc 3.0.

The pages are still a bit rough but it got my client started. The site has been in use for 2 months. The users of the site, mainly pipeline companies, have give my client suggestions for changes. I'll be making these changes over the next week.

A more powerful demo for your client would be a view of his data on the web. You probably have a vfp table that is an inventory of his time-share rooms. If you sent me this vfp table we could publish this table at my site.

Let me know.

Paul

>>I have since upgraded my cable connection to a permanent ip address and with the rights to run a web server. I bought Visual Studio which comes with NT and IIS. I bought another computer and installed nt, iis and wwc. I'm hosting my client's application while we are developing it. Eventually we'll move the application and wwc to my client's web server.

>>I can now demo this app to my other clients who want to publish to the web.

>Paul, I have developed a classic VFP application for a large resort in Virginia. It handles time-share reservations, rentals, billing maintenance fees, etc.

>There are no web elements at all right now but I can imagine lots of possibilities. When I get to the point of suggesting using Fox for web stuff, would you be interested in showing off your site as a simple demonstration of what can be done with VFP and WWWC? I would, of course, suggest that it would be smart if my client purchased some consulting time from you...
