I have use SourceSafe a few times. Not a expert, just been exposed to using it.

That is your decision. In my mind if I have three people working on the same project, I would use it.

New problems will happen, usually letting you know that there may be conflictsin the intgrity of the
code checked out and checked in.

I did the complete install of Visual Studio and SouceSafe worked with no problems.

It works fine with anything.

There are alternatives, but I have not looked at any. SourceSafe is integrated into Visual Studio and to date, has
worked for me
