>Why is Alan Cooper called "the Father of Visual Basic?" Isn't it B. Gates?

Alan Cooper is a interaction designer that was highly responsible for the initial IDE design for the first version of VB. He is commonly referred to as the "father of VB" because it was the IDE that set VB apart from all other BASIC incarnations at the time.

Cooper has written at least two books focused on user interface design and is considered one of the luminaries on that subject.
