I haven't used Win2000 yet and I will probably never use Win98.
But I switched from Win95 to WinNT4 Server/Workstation at home and work
about two years ago. Both on pretty stable Win95 configurations and the experience was wonderful.

Basically, no crashes at home. I reboot this computer daily mainly because I turn it off at night.
At work I usually had to reboot once a month or even seldom. I remember only two Blue Screens of Death in two
years. And keep in mind that I do development on both, so, the chances to get a BSD are far higher than on a
production system. I never turn off my computer at work, so the situation is even better. For comparison, working
on the same type of development (or same projects), I used to have one BSD every 3-4 days on Win95.

>My workstation was on Windows '95 before and it was stable. I would say, with all those apps always running 24 hours a day, I only had to reboot about once every two weeks. I considered that to be a good standard. However, since I upgraded, I have to reboot several times per week. As oppose to Windows '95, this time, it reboots itself even while I'm not doing anything. See, last week, I was on the phone and it just rebooted. I didn't do anything.
