Dennis,

>David, (prefer Dave or David?)

Whichever sounds better to you. I was called Johnny all through high school (my older brother's name), so I'll answer to just about anything.

>Thanks for the tip on fox.wikis.com. I barely failed the test, in fact if I put some effort into studying VSS, I might have passed.

It's wise to study everything listed on the test outline, and if possible, to use the products to experiment and set up your own samples in areas that you are weak.

During the study group sessions, I forced myself to learn some things in much greater depth by agreeing to make a presentation to the group (and post a topic on the wiki). By digging into the documentation on form events, building dozens of forms to test various event-firing sequences, etc., I increased my skills and experience and made myself a better developer.

That's what I recommend for everyone to do who recognizes their weak areas when reading the test preparation outline. After all, this test is designed to measure experience as well as knowledge.

>Also I need to understand some of the test wording. I know how to set up a normalized, relational database, it’s common sense as far as I’m concerned. But in some cases I didn’t understand what the test was saying. I’ll take the test again soon and pass, I’m sure.

Congratulations in advance!
