We stopped a company and lost a couple of dollars by the way. We have been seriously harmed by this absolute absence of marketing support. Of course we should have stopped using vfp and use Delphi.

MS just do not expect anyone to invest serious time and money in a crippled legacy product such as vfp. We knew it but insisted in using fox because we felt MS would stop the fox-bashing early enough as vfp5/6 deserves it. They clearly did not.

From a marketing point of view the product is dead now in most european countries. I would urge any of you wishing to develop a serious product (ad hoc development is still ok) in vfp to forget about it.

My partners are free-bsd and linux. They do not really love MS. i joined the club just to-day...
