Are you sure the reports are included in the project and not excluded? I have seen my fellow programmers have the path set to the reports, but never include them in the project. When they ran the exe the reports ran fine because they were in the path of the development machine, but when they gave the exe to others the program failed to find the reports and thus aborted.
