I have been using VFP 6 SP 3 with Win98 SE [second edition] ever since Win98SE came out. I was also using VFP 6 SP3 with the original release of Win98. I have not experienced any compatibility problems. You may need to run a thorough scandisk on your C drive. You may have a drive that is about to fail.
