I saw this last week on Slashdot. The point of course is to aim Delphi at the Linux platform. Corel has been getting into Linux development in a big way.

Interesting side effect of this: MS owns 10% of Inprise, and so will now own 4% of Corel, so this means that MS owns a Linux Distribution!! (Corel Linux)
