>>See my latest post to Bruce. I wasn't able to get either an ANI or CUR file to display, but referencing a resounce worked just fine. And I don't have a clue as to why. Sorry.

>No prob. Probably just me, but it seems to me that mousepointer icon stuff is a little squirrelly in VFP. When using the native VFP mousepointer functionality, it just doesn't seem to work like I would "expect" it to. For instance, I would have never figured out the settings to keep the mousepointer an arrow over the controls in a grid if J. Booth hadn't posted them. Just doesn't seem intuitive to me. Like I say, probably just me.
It'd be easy to blame the way VFP handles windows messages for this, but I'm not 100% certain that it's the source of the problem. That does come into play here, but I'm not exactly certain to what extent. If it hadn't work in the same context using the both loading from a file and a resource, then I'd be a bit more confident in saying that. However, since it did work one way and not the other (and I did make the necessary adjustments in the API calls), I'm not entirely certain what to think.
