I have a complete web app in production, and it is as stable or more stable then the VFP front-end apps I have in production. I find that bug-free web apps are easier to write then their VFP counterparts because of their completely stateless nature- since all of the environment variables have to come in and out through one door, the number of possible complications is reduced drastically. I think that your assessment of the stability of web apps is a little premature- do more asking around, and you'll find that the technology is probably more tested than you think-
