Hi All,

I've come across something in the past few days that has worried me significantly.

We have a table within our application that an associated fpt file. As I'm writing this the dbf stands at 3kb and the fpt at 600 MB, yes megabytes!!

Anyway, on browsing the the table nothing seems odd. The data in the the fpt is right. This particular dbf had 80 or so records and each memo field has about 800 lines in it.

This thing is really unstable and it's growing exponentially. It's like the opening scene few scenes in The 5th Element<s>

Aside from bad code which I'm now checking, has anyone seen or heard of this before? Any help would be appreciated.
