>Well, I'm not going to bother asking Rick, I'll just take your guy's word for it, but I still think this will end up being more unstable than you think. JMO, and once again, I'm not putting down web apps, just saying that as of right now, the web apps will look very, very premature compared to what you see in the next 10 months. 2¢

Actually, I think your a little premature here Mike. 10 months from now we'll be lucky if we have a Visual Studio 7 beta available to a select few. 14 months from now we might just have a live version... and 18 months from now we might just have a SP1 for VS7 that makes all the new stuff stable & reliable. So now were looking at the end of 2001 before we start seeing folks becoming highly skilled with all the new web service related features and putting impressive stuff out into production for general public consumption.

Meanwhile, Rick's been doing Web Connection apps since I first appeared on the conference circuit in 1995. Half of what's being fluffed over is old news to the West Wind corner. And Rick has always been on top of the newest web technologies as soon as the came out of beta in the past. So the way I see it, chances are far more likely that while everybody else is catching up with what West Winds been doing all along, Rick's product(s) will be giving us the ability to go far beyond the current norm at the time (just like he's always done).
