Hello.

We do not know if this is normal for Foxpro applications, but we are currently experiencing problems when we try to overwrite an executable with a newer version. Specifically, we get the "File access denied" error message (sharing violation, etc.).

We are running this application on a windows NT 4.0 network, and when we close the link to the application (using server manager) it seems that we are then able to overwrite the executable. However, we are uncertain of the impact this may have on the running application, and would like to know if this is correct before trying it.

We are still looking for other, more effective solutions (if this one even works *G*), and any help would be appreciated.
