You all will love this. We have one user here who has a NEC 21" monitor and runs it in 640x480. But in fairness to her, her eyes are basically quasimodo and she has to run this mode and then often put her face quite close to the screen to see certain things. I feel sorry for her ... what do you do for someone like that?

On the other hand, I actually know a developer who did the same thing around here for awhile. Don't know if he continued it or not but I just couldn't get it. I run 1280x1024 on my 21" and if the videao card refresh rate/color depth would stand it, I'd probably run 1600x1280.
