>ahem...I think so. (I want to run my application with my menu, etc. Is that ok to do or should I always run it with the main desktop?) Thanks again. I really appreciate it.
Normally, applications that utilize a menu system use the main VFP desktop. The screen's caption change be set either I described previously (I'm not sure off-hand about the icon). IAC, I manipulate the _SCREEN's properties rather than the configuration file.
SDI applications have a single form that the user interacts with. In many cases, they don't have menus, but they can utilize them. SDI apps may call other forms, but, in general, these are modal dialogs.
Does this help?
>>>Thanks George. And how do I eliminate completely the first main VFP window that comes up?
>>>When I run the EXE, I have a Window titled "Microsoft Visual FoxPro" and beneath that is my main application window with it's name.
