Bruce,

I know personal preference is always paramount, but after 2 years (in a prior life) of support both OS's in a 250 wks environment, I can assure you that the limits of NT, are much further off than 95. I have also been using NT for development for 2 years and the number of reboots, and system problems are miniscule compared to what I have dealt with on a 95 box.
They *are* different, and you are going to have those growing pains to deal with, but I am willing to bet that your stability problems will be MUCH more manageable with NT as the rollout platform.
In your situation, someone screwed up on the install, or there is a problem with the media, or the hardware I am guessing. Don't blame the OS. :)
Once you get used to the *different* configuration options, and understand the security model, I think you will see that there is no comparison.
Just my opinion.
Best,
Bill
