Sometimes there are functions or command that we expect to behave the way we want but it doesn't. Having said that, you have to elaborate what you want so that people here could suggest other ways of doing things instead of just relying to one command or function.
in general, I would accept your point. But in this case I'm not that interested in any particular functionality. I'm interested in the behaviour of the 'clear typeahead' command. I have, till now, assumed that it will clear whatever is in the keyboard buffer INCLUDING keystrokes that you've inserted using the 'KEYBOARD' command. I am simply seeking clarification on whether or not my assumption was valid and if not, why not?
