1. You may be referring to a desktop "scrap." http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q138/2/75.asp
"In Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, you can drag and drop selected document text, drawing objects, and graphics to the Windows desktop. A desktop icon is created for the scrap file, along with a file located in the Windows\Desktop subfolder with an .shs extension. "

2. Someone had a utility to do something like what you describe. Rauh? Tasker?


>I was writting code, and some accidental keystroke combination, somewhere around the Ctrl or Alt key area produced a Post-It type note on my screen that I could enter comments into. Does anyone know the combination of keystrokes to get this again? I am constantly writting myself notes in a prg file just to save them with the project. If the Post-It notes is a VFP feature and there is someway of accessing them all, this would be wonderful.
