I am just starting to use Crystal Reports. I have gotten as far as using ODBC to read the data dic. and all seems to be going ok. However, any empty dates print with a year of 1899. I tried using:

if {table.date} < date(1990,1,1) then
{table.date}

but I get errors. There must be a simple way to do this.
