Ashamed to admit I hadn't even spotted that usage goes back to pre FP2.6! Now I've RTFM I intend to insert the 'clear' wherever I use the 'keyboard' command as it is the only way you can be absolutely sure that only the keystrokes you want are in the buffer... particularly important in snail pace windows apps where users are conditioned to entering keystrokes at high speed in the DOS environment....
