I setup VFP on win95 and tried to run SQLSTRINGCONNECT from command window using an IP address as server name. I get two errors: '53 Conection Failed' and '6 Server not Found'. Running the same code on NT works.

Also, just for grins, I tried to connect to a DCOM object. Again, using NT everything is fine, but bombs with 95 saying 'Access Denied'.

I thought I heard somewhere that 95\98 clients can not get authenticated on an NT server going through the Internet. I'm setup using SQL Server authenitication so I thought this would not be an issue.
