I dunno. If Star wasn't free, they could, because then every body would use MS (because they would make it free), then after Star dissapears, jack up the price.

But Linux folks usually don't play these games, anyway, they (usually) want to avoid alot of teh MS BS. It will be interesting to see if the even make a dent. JMO
