I rolled my own once for a former employer. This was a few years ago, but at the time most of the phone systems capable of data collecting would spit out their own custom comma delimited text file. Once you see what's in the text file & find out what sort of tracking your apps needs to do, it's typically a fairly cut-n-dried type of app.
