Title:
Driver's SQLSetConnectOption failed.
I have a view set up as a remote data source into an Oracle table. This view
works great if I browse it from the project manager. On my old computer it
even works great as a data source for a form.
This weekend, I moved my application to a new computer. Now, the view from
the project manager still works great. However, If I try to run a form, from
a compiled program that uses this view, I get the following error.
Error loading file - Parent - Record number 5 connectivity error:
[Microsoft][ODBC DLL] Driver's SQLSetConnectOption failed.
Just before it fails, the Oracle log-in screen pops-up. This is strange since
I have built the username and password into the view definition.
I've reloaded ODBC drivers from Oracle and from Microsoft. Nothing seems to kill
this problem. I even checked today to see if the view still works on my old system.
It does.
Help! I've been fighting this one for 16 hours now!
