I don't know M$ released Vfp5.0b. The latest product is Vfp5.0a which is packed with Visual Studio. You can check the "About VFP" from main window menu bar. I remember that release date of Vfp5.0 was at the end of 1996. There was no Vfp5.0 in the market in the August 1996.

>My old computer fried and I am attempting to reconstruct relevent applications from original install disks (I have backups of the data). I know I ordered VFP5.0B but can only find one install CD. The dates on the CD are August 21, 1996. Is this the original or is this the update. There is no indication on the CD as to the version other than 5.0 whic helps little.
