The Win98 and 9 of the NT stations are all functioning properly - except when the remaining NT station has launched the application.

If what Larry and Al suggested does not work, then it may be a hardware issue. These suggestions are last ditch.

If you are absolutely certain there is no difference between the rogue NT station and the other 9 with respect to software, network client, etc., then you may try swapping hardware components. But do it 1 component at a time.

You might first try swapping the NIC with one of the other good NT stations. If the NIC is OK, swap it back. Then try swapping hard-drives with one of the good NT stations.

If swapping hard-drives works, then you do not have a software issue on the rogue machine. You most likely have a hardware problem.

Do you have enough concurrent connection licences on the server?
