Does the erring machine maybe have limited RAM or a near-full HD? I can't think of any, but might there be some system setting that this specific machine has different that is getting in the way?... for example, I have software from a bank that I use to manage my account/money and when I set the video to 'large fonts' it went bonkers. Setting it back to small fonts fixed the problem!@#@!
