Without knowing the details it is difficult to be specific in the response. It very well may be the FoxUser file that is causing the error. You can solve that by putting a file in the home directory of teh application named Config.fpw. Have teh following line in that file;

RESOURCES=OFF

That stops Fox from trying to use the Foxuser file. A shared foxuser file is just short of useless anyway.
