Hi Aashish

Instance can represent only one database.
As for tablespace, it is a logical grouping of objects together, usualy you put all your datafiles in one tablespace
while your System objects in another tablespace etc..

In VFP it is easy to create databases and then jump from one to teh other it does not seem that easy in Oracle AFAIK.
I am having similar problem in SQL server.
