David,
Thanks for you response. I understand what you are saying, but whenever I try to use ??? to send the codes to the printer it creates a Foxpro user defined job in the print que and no more printing can occur until this is deleted manually. Do you turn off print spooling to send codes via ???. If not I would like to know your secret for not futzing up the spooler. I don't think I will be able to get away with requiring that spooling be turned off for our app to work. Waiting to hear from you again...
