It could do you some good to dig into Rick's classes. I've more than doubled the performance of some of the methods in his wwXML class with a few optimizations of the code.

Not a lot of work. For nice looking reports, you can create a FoxPro report and just call his wwpdf class and you get a pdf file that looks great. Once again, not much work since he's already done it. Web Connection is as good as it gets. It's easy (once you know where the bones are buried) and powerful - kinda like VFP ain't it.
