I recently attempted to deploy a module that uses MAPI at a client's site that has around 60 workstations, with several variations of Outlook and Outlook Express installs. Several workstations give the error "Class not registered" when attempting to instanciate the session object.

This was confusing, but I attempted to copy and register the MAPI ocx manually. After doing so, the trouble workstations give "Appropriate license not found". So I put together a VFP websetup that would install and register the controls, and had the same problem.

All of the workstations that don't work are using the free Outlook 98 version that you can download from MS (yes, Outlook, not Outlook Express). But some of the ones that do work are using this version too.

Anybody got a hint as to what I need to get the MAPI controls registered on these machines? I thought previously that any machine running Outlook or Outlook Express would have the MAPI controls, but I guess I was dead wrong there...
