Using VFP 5.00

I have a formset of two forms FormA FormB

On formA i have a commandbutton
Thisformset.AddObject("FormC",FORM)
ThisFormSet.FormC.Show()

Before activating FormC, VFP fires the FormB.ActivateEvent

Why ? Is it possible to prevent this ?
