I forgot to mention this - but as I walk thru my code I notice that when I went I try to refresh the grid and set focus to it that is where things really hang up. I originally thought perhaps there was something in my class so I tried using FoxPro base classes and experience the same problem. Do you understand what is going on here with the grid.
