Thank you for your insight. I wasn't sure if I explained the situation well enough because only one other person responded and he said I shouldn't use integers if I didn't need them (which told me I didn't explain the problem so he could understand it.)

t any rate, that is what I am doing. Right now it is not a problem because the tables are small (less than 10,000 records), however I am concerned that if the tables grow much beyond this that a speed issue will become evident. As side note, is where is Burlingame in relation to San Louis Obispo? I was recently visiting SLO on a job offer (which I may take after our wedding) and was very impressed. My fiance and I are jealous of the wonderful weather!
