Hello everyone

Has anyone had experience (good or bad) using Access as the data engine for WEB hosting. We have a noddy VFP lookup table containing a list of documents (1200). It contains the reference number, title, location, size, etc of the documents.

The company I work for is taking this table to an external company so that they can host a web site using Access in smaller, local, sites and SQL Server at localtions where there will more traffic. Naturally, the intention is to upgrade as and when necessary from Access to SQL Server.

Any comments, or urls, on this theme would be appreciated. I am not looking for problems, but if there are likely to be any, I'm sure the company would like to consider any potential problems and possible alternatives.

(By the way, the hosting company does not use FoxPro...)
