FYI - It runs fine on Win9x. I even installed the SQL Server tools and they all work just like they do on WinNT.
I preface the following with .. My limited tcp/ip knowlege is enough to only get me in trouble but ...
I think the issue with accessing the Win9x pc is with the fact that you need to use tcp/ip an not named pipes, and that by default the sql server odbc connection wants to use tcp/ip port 1433 which is setup on the Win9x pc. Any idea how to configure tcp/ip to listen on port 1433?
