>My situation is: I want to create an application, which allows us to maintain Lookups and support tables. These tables have, of course, different structures. The simplest approach is to have an edittable grid. But some of the tables may have more than 30 fields, so they also require an entry form.

This is a real pain in the keister (sp) isn't it? Well, my applications do this automatically. Of course, I'm using Visual FoxExpress, but hey that's one reason I bought the framework. If I set a field to validate via a lookup and the user doesn't find a match, they can add a new one right there in the lookup form, complete with all the business rules that go into that lookup table. I can't see wasting my time writing these kinds of things when its already done. If you can't go with a framework for development purposes, it would be worth the investment just to pull it apart and see how things are done. And, no I'm not a salesman for VFE, just a satisfied (productive) user for several years.
