Hi,

My application require the use of Star Thermal receipt printer for
printing. However, when I issue the command below, the printer
does not print at all. I can see only the queue in the printer spooler. Next, NT4( with service pack 6a) will prompt of error writing to this device.

" Error writing to LPT1: for Document Visual Foxpro: The device is not ready. Do you wish to retry or cancel the job".

I am using the generic text printer driver that come with NT4 workstation.


SET PRINTER TO LPT1
SET DEVICE TO PRINTER
SET PRINT ON

SET PRINT OFF
SET PRINTER TO
