SET CENTURY ON only affects the display of dates, not the interpretation of incomplete dates. VFP 5+ offers the ROLLOVER clause for SET CENTURY which addresses this, but with early versions, you need to specify the year, or use a Y2K product like the one offered by Christof Lange.
