Is there any way to insure that when you setup a form with it's data environment that it will use a relative database location like:
data\customer.dbf
instead of:
f:\progs\invmangr\source\data\customer.dbf

without manually opening and closing the tables yourself?

When I develop the program it works fine, but when I deploy it to my customer it ocasionally looks for the database in the original location, but othertimes it does not.
