Unfortunatly I do know of the problems. Thankfully in our Company we can make Rules for Programming and all our machines are mapped the same as well as using UNC out of a Company standard LUT (Although I have not tried using UNC in an ADODB connection string). Its a Do or Die Kind of thing so I have to move forward. I appreciate all the help. Guess the ultimate answer is that we will never know how the VFPCOM crosses the COM boundries. >>The CursorToRS() is easy if you cheat!! In My Cursor to RS I pass it a parameter of the Location and Name of the Cursor. Then in the Com Object i open it using ADODB that in turn creates a record set and then you return the record set. Kind of Sloppy but for what I am looking for it works.
